My favorite game of all time is Super Mario 64. It was totally cool. I think it revolutionized the world of 3D games, not to mention the game was the first of many game to incorporate texture to surroundings.

I've always had a liking for Rhythm games.
Elite Beat Agents. Guitaroo Man. Guitar Hero. Rock Band.
All of those are great. The act of playing such a game often times gives you a feeling that you're in the game, which tends to be a refreshing and interesting experience.
